In response to participant feedback, we are trying something new: an advanced short course on glycomaterial synthesis. Instead of the normal, week-long summer school (a high-level look at GlycoMIP’s user facility capabilities), a new GlycoMIP Short Course has been designed to dive into carbohydrate synthesis methods. We are pleased to have several carbohydrate synthesis experts traveling to Blacksburg for the course as instructors. Space is limited to 12 full participants (including lectures and in-lab exercises), but a virtual, “lectures-only” option will also be offered. Applications are being accepted thru Friday, April 12, 2024. Everyone interested in participating (full participants or “lectures only”) must apply by the deadline to be considered.
NOTE: UGA will repeat its 2023 course again in September, so stay tuned for more information on this event! And for those that have asked, we expect the traditional summer school program @ VT to be repeated in the future.
