The Office of Research and Graduate Programs
works in tandem with the three academic departments that house the SOP's graduate programs to foster a culture of research excellence. It supports graduate students' academic, career, and professional development through networking events, career chats, research poster competitions, workshops, weekly graduate student newsletters, and community-building activities. In coordination with various offices within the University of Mississippi, the SOP ORGP also provides guidance and support on various graduate student and research-related matters.

Department of BioMolecular Sciences
We are a department of leaders in inter-disciplinary life sciences dedicated to improving human and environmental health through education, biological and chemical research, and committed service.
Department of Pharmacy Administration
Our department explores the frontiers of health economics and outcomes research, pharmaceutical marketing and management, pharmacoepidemiology, and the evolving role of pharmacists in delivering quality health care.
Department of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery
Our vision is to be nationally and internationally recognized as a center of excellence in pharmaceutics and drug delivery, as distinguished by our innovative work in research and education.

The University of Mississippi Food Pantry seeks to end campus hunger and alleviate poverty by discreetly providing nutritious food products and hygiene products free of charge to students and employees in the Ole Miss community.
UMatter is the official site for finding resources and information on how to care for yourself and your peers when they are in distress.
VIP: Survivor Support provides confidential advocacy to assist victim-survivors of gender-based violence and serves as a liaison between the University and local resource groups. Confidential advocates are certified campus advocates who provide non-judgmental support and options and empower students to create an individualized plan for healing. Staff and peer educators also promote awareness through programming and provide education for students, faculty, and staff on these topics.

Our Research Centers
Center for Clinical and Translational Science
The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) serves as a catalyst for the clinical and translational sciences between the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and UMMC. CCTS facilitates the translation of basic research discoveries into clinically validated therapies to improve the health of populations in Mississippi and beyond.
Center for Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management
CPMM is a research center of excellence that advances research, teaching, and service in the areas of medication use and health outcomes, management of pharmacy organizations, and the marketing and utilization of appropriate medications in all segments of the healthcare industry. The CPMM works closely with the Department of Pharmacy Administration, and almost all CPMM research projects in the center and department are conducted by collaborative teams of faculty, staff, and graduate students working in the two units.
National Center for Cannabis Research and Education
The National Center for Cannabis Research and Education fosters and conducts scientific research, data analysis, education and training on the health effects of cannabis. NCCRE researchers and leaders will aid in policymaking and outreach as state programs emerge.
National Center for Natural Products Research
We research, develop, and commercialize potentially useful natural products. Based at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, NCNPR collaborates with academia, government, and the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries to create natural products that can be used to improve human health and agriculture as crops, pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements and agrochemicals.
Pii Center for Pharmaceutical Technology
We conduct interdisciplinary drug and polymer research that provides end-stage pharmaceutical products directed at therapeutic conditions, vaccines, antidotes and wound care.
