Application to the Pre-Pharmacy Program

Pink tulips at the welcome signApplicants for the pre-pharmacy program should apply to the University of Mississippi as an undergraduate student and select Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences as your major.

The Sophomore Entry Program provides an opportunity for University of Mississippi freshmen to earn a preferred seat in the professional pharmacy program upon completion of three years of pre-pharmacy coursework, avoiding the competitive selection process for regular entry admission.

Beginning with the 2020-2021 admissions cycle, applicants are no longer required to take the PCAT for admissions purposes. However, to be considered for school-specific scholarships, students will need to take it, as this is a requirement for scholarships moving forward.
