Eli Lilly Scientist Named Joseph Sam Distinguished Alumna
Maria Alvim Gaston, a 2000 University of Mississippi graduate with a doctoral degree in medicinal chemistry, was named the School of Pharmacy Department of BioMolecular Sciences’ 2019 Joseph Sam Distinguished Alumnus Award honoree. Read more.

Thankful to everyone who helped with a productive Board of Visitors meeting! We had a wonderful time at the reception in addition to the informative presentations and tour.
@DavidDAllen received an American flag from Maj. Michael S. Bradley, husband of pharmacy school staff member Dawn Bradley. The flag had flown over Camp Legion, Erbil Air Base in Kurdistan, Iraq.
Looked like a great time at the Mississippi Science Fest! Our volunteer student pharmacists assisted kids at the @MSChildsMuseum with making lotion and using beads to count medicine.

Join Ole Miss Pharmacy at the school’s official tailgate, sponsored by CVS, on Saturday, Nov. 16 in front of Faser Hall. The Ole Miss football team takes on LSU with game time to be announced. The tailgate begins three hours before kickoff.
Prescription for Service and the School of Pharmacy will host Mississippi’s Walk for Diabetes, an event through the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi. The walk is Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. at the Lyceum. Donate or learn more.
