Distinguished Alumni Recognized during Alumni Weekend
During the 2021 Alumni Weekend, the School of Pharmacy recognized its 1970 and 1971 reunion classes. The school also celebrated its 2020 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year honoree Larry Calvert and the 2021 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year recipient Blake Thompson. Congratulationsto both of our honorees.
UM Vaccination Site Servers Community through Care
Thanks to Ole Miss Pharmacy faculty and student pharmacists, thousands of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the University of Mississippi community. Take a closer look at their efforts to keep our campus safe and healthy!
Not all students come to Ole Miss knowing what they want to do with their future, but for Hayden Wooldridge, there was no doubt. Wooldridge is a P3 student who has been working toward a future in community pharmacy. During her time at Ole Miss Pharmacy, she has excelled in her studies and earned multiple student awards. P3 student Xingyu Pan took part in interprofessional education simulation activities alongside other students at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where they learned to become advocates for care.
