UM Professor Helps Pharmacists Aid Victims of Intimate Partner Violence
Marie Barnard, assistant professor of pharmacy administration, is working to ensure that pharmacists have the resources they need to assist those experiencing intimate partner violence.
She may have followed her sister to Ole Miss, but first-year professional student Abby Fischer is charting her own journey at the School of Pharmacy. After earning college credit in high school, Fischer was able to apply it to her pre-pharmacy coursework and join the Progressive Entry track at the pharmacy school. It was wonderful to see alumnus Louie Smith honored as a Health Care Hero at a recent Ole Miss women’s basketball game!
