Annie Piperno joined the School of Pharmacy as the new academic advisor for pre-pharmacy students.
What do you enjoy about being an academic advisor at the School of Pharmacy?
The School of Pharmacy has been very welcoming, and I already feel like part of the “phamily.” I enjoy working with students to plan their path to professional school. Each student has unique challenges to achieve their goals – we say it is kind of like solving a puzzle!
What are some of the benefits students have joining the Ole Miss Pre-Pharmacy Club?
The Pre-Pharmacy Club offers professional development opportunities and social networking experiences. We will have community service events, as well as mixers with the Early Entry cohort.
What are your favorite things to do around the Ole Miss and Oxford communities?
I’m looking forward to experiencing the Grove during football weekends. I moved to Oxford during COVID, so I missed out on a lot of great Ole Miss traditions.
What is something someone may not know about you?
I’ve lived in seven states!
