School of Pharmacy: Why did you want to become an admissions counselor for the SOP?
Noelle Stanley: I grew up in the Jackson metro area and recently moved back after being gone for nearly a decade. I was thrilled to find an opportunity that would allow me to engage with students and professionals from “home” all the while helping showcase our top notch program!
SOP: What are some of the reasons a potential student may choose SOP?
NS: The University of Mississippi’s School of Pharmacy gives our students the best of both worlds. Our students get to enjoy the undergraduate experience and all that has to offer while simultaneously gaining access to a wealth of professional resources. Once students come to the Jackson campus, they are further immersed into what their future career may hold.
SOP: Favorite things about Ole Miss?
NS: I love seeing and hearing the Ole Miss students, alumni, faculty and staff’s institutional pride. Hotty Toddy!!
SOP: Favorite things about Jackson?
NS: Seeing how much it has grown since leaving and returning home. I love exploring the area with my husband and siblings.
SOP: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
NS: I enjoy volunteering at my siblings’ schools and in their classrooms. Any free time I have left, I use to spend time with the people I love.
