Pharmacy School Hosts Browse Fair for Aspiring Pharmacists

OXFORD, Miss. – The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy will host pharmacy showcases across the state this spring to educate aspiring pharmacists about the over 600 career paths available in the field of pharmacy.

The pharmacy showcase events, sponsored in part by Walgreens Diversity Initiative, are designed to be meet and greets with the School of Pharmacy’s dean, faculty, staff and current students, as well as pharmacy practitioners from different areas of practice. Attendees may also participate in hands-on activities, such as compounding lip balm. High school and college students, parents, alumni and counselors are all welcomed.

Attendees have three locations to choose from:

  • Oxford, March 8, The Inn at Ole Miss, 6-8 p.m.
  • Jackson, April 3, Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum, 6-8 p.m.
  • Biloxi, April 26, Biloxi Yacht Club, 6-8 p.m.
