Crystal Chancellor is a program coordinator for the Department of Pharmacy Practice on the Jackson campus of the School of Pharmacy, where third-year pharmacy students take classes. She has been with the University of Mississippi since 2011.

School of Pharmacy: Can you talk about your background?
Crystal Chancellor: I am a native of Jackson, Mississippi. I am married to Darrin Chancellor and have one amazing child, Kayleigh Chancellor.
SOP: What brought you to UMMC?
CC: I wanted to work in a challenging and diverse environment that promotes motivation, attaining goals and success.
SOP: What do you enjoy about your job?
CC: I enjoy the high-energy working environment, along with learning new things on a daily basis. I also enjoy interacting with the students, faculty and my fellow colleagues.
SOP: What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
CC: I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, sporting events and shopping.
SOP: What is something others might not know about you?
CC: My husband is a member of the University of Southern Mississippi Basketball Hall of Fame.
