OXFORD, Miss. – The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy played an active role in the Mississippi Pharmacists Association’s 154th Annual Convention and Trade Show.

The 2025 convention, held in Oxford, presented networking and development opportunities and saw Ole Miss pharmacy faculty, residents and students engaged in conference events and recognized for their achievements.

Fourth-year student pharmacist Camille Culp, of Marvell, Arkansas, received the Pharmacy Student of the Year Award, while PGY1 preceptor Kelly Antici won the Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award.

“I am extremely honored to be named MPhA’s Student Pharmacist of the Year,” Culp said. “I have always had a passion for service, and I am grateful to MPhA for giving me an outlet to express this passion.”

Meagan Brown, clinical associate professor of pharmacy practice, was also installed as MPhA treasurer for the 2025-2026 year.

Additionally, all four of the School of Pharmacy’s PGY1 and PGY2 residents presented continuing education sessions, while three faculty members, Brown, Kayla Stover and Lindsey Miller, served on a student programming panel.

Finally, Natalie Montgomery, clinical assistant professor of pharmacy, led the American Pharmacists Association Immunization Training for Pharmacists at a pre-meeting session.

“The excellence displayed by our faculty, residents and students reflects the School of Pharmacy’s commitment to leadership, service and professional advancement,” said Donna Strum, UM pharmacy dean. “Our engagement and leadership in state professional associations reinforces our dedication to the pharmacy profession and lifelong learning.”
