Pharm.D. Dual Degrees

Pharm.D./MBA

Two nationally recognized programs. One amazing career.

The dual degree program provides an extensive knowledge in business and management that helps students gain the skills needed to lead community pharmacies, hospital pharmacy operations, state and federal health agencies, pharmaceutical manufacturing corporations, and other rewarding jobs.

Students will have the primary degree classification of Pharm.D. and will apply for the MBA program between the first and second professional year. Students should be able to complete the Pharm.D. and MBA coursework and graduate with both degrees at the same time.

PharmD/MBA Curriculum

All of the MBA courses will be online, as 27 MBA hours will be taken concurrently with PharmD courses during the P2-P4 years. Nine MBA hours will be taken during the summer between the P2 and P3 years. A total of eight hours will count towards both PharmD and MBA degrees.

Pharm.D./MPH

Doubling down on improving public health and policy.

The combination of the Doctor of Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy and the university’s online Master of Public Health program provides the knowledge, skills and professional training to bridge two important health care fields.

The dual degree program prepares graduates for careers within government agencies, community health and immunology, emergency response, insurance and managed care organizations, academic roles and more. The MPH allows students more opportunities to enrich their education and differentiate themselves for residency and job placements.
