He has completed his doctorate and M. Pharm. degree in Pharmaceutics at Kakatiya University, India.
During this tenure, he was awarded as BSR fellow, a national doctorate fellowship, by University Grants Commission (UGC), and junior researcher fellowship from AICT, India. He has seven years of research experience in nanoparticle and other conventional formulation development.
His research findings were published in peer-reviewed international journals such as Int J Biological and Macromolecules, Eur J Pharma and Biopharm, Drug delivery, AAPS PharmSciTech, Drug delivery and Translational research, and Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy. He also has experience in running simple pharmacokinetic studies.
Currently, he is working on designing, developing and manufacturing lipid nanocarriers for ocular delivery, especially for the management of glaucoma and other ocular diseases. He is also working on the development of an oral lipid nanoformulations for liver targeting.
