Yinan Huang, MS, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Administration, and Research Assistant Professor in Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at OleMiss. Her research focuses on generating high-quality evidence of medication utilization, effectiveness and safety of medications for chronic diseases, with a focus on rheumatology. She has extensively used observational study designs and involved large datasets (administrative claims and national surveys) to answer clinically relevant questions. She also has a special interest in machine learning methodological research aimed at improving predictive performance of important clinical outcomes in observational studies.

Bio:
After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Mumbai, India, Omkar gained valuable experience working in the marketing department of a pharmaceutical company. He then went on to establish his own successful venture focused on manufacturing spare parts for pharmaceutical machines. Omkar’s passion for the field has led him to pursue a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Through this program, he is gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in his desired career path of working in a pharmaceutical company focusing on market access and outcomes research. In the long term, Omkar aims to expand his expertise by offering consultation services in outcomes research for his own venture.

Arman received his Pharm.D. degree from Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in 2022 and worked as a Retail Pharmacist, Market Researcher, and Data Analyst during his studies and after graduation. He is pursuing his Pharmacy Administration Ph.D. with an emphasis in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to combine his interests in pharmacy and business. After completing his degree, he would like to work in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on Data Analysis, Pharmacoeconomics, and Pharmaceutical Marketing.
