The Blood Research Institute in collaboration with its K12 Clinical Scholars Program (https://www.translationalglycomics.com) participants will host a unique virtual workshop on August 26, 2021 focused on heparin induced thrombocytopenia (HIT). The Workshop endeavors to bring clinicians, glycobiologists, and technologists together with the overarching goal to stimulate actionable ideas at to improve our understanding of HIT and drive next generation prediction, diagnostic, and treatment modalities.
