March 5 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy will host two pharmacy showcases this spring to educate those interested in a career in health care about the more than 600 career paths available in the field of pharmacy.
The pharmacy showcase events, sponsored in part by a Walgreens Diversity Initiative, are designed as meet-and-greets with the School of Pharmacy’s dean David D. Allen, as well as faculty, staff, current students and pharmacy practitioners from different areas of practice.
Attendees may also participate in hands-on activities such as compounding lip balm. High school and college students, parents, alumni and counselors are all welcome to attend.
Each browse fair will feature free food, including King Cake at the Cleveland event to celebrate Fat Tuesday. Attendees will also have free admission to explore the exhibits at the GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi.
