Foster research collaboration among stakeholders in and outside of Mississippi

Six student pharmacists in their white coats, stand in a row, smiling for someone taking picture with phoneTranslational research, by its very nature, demands a high degree of collaboration between basic scientists, clinicians, epidemiologists, public health workers, patients, and patient advocates. Effective communication is perhaps the single most important key to success in highly collaborative endeavors. CCTS will serve as a facilitating organization to improve communication between stakeholder groups and maintain the momentum of translational research initiatives.

Objectives

  • Establish patient-centered translational research priorities
  • Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders
  • Disseminate findings (publications, website, community presentations, etc.)
