Research interests:
I have research interests in secondary metabolites of plants, particularly those from the surrounding area of the United States. To prepare for research in this field, I studied in a medical botany course and a plant anatomy course at Delta State University to gain a greater understanding of plant systems. Overall, I am particularly interested in the chemistry of plants that allows them to create such crucial secondary metabolites that pharmacy relies on today.
