Research Interests:

I earned my Pharm. D degree from An-Najah National University in Palestine. In 2018, I received my Master’s in Biology from Jacksonville State University, U.S.A. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate working under the supervision of Dr. Jason Paris. In my research, I am investigating the influence of sex hormones, aging, and HIV-1 proteins on the development of neurological disorders involving deficits in motor, sensory and cognitive functions (collectively known as neuroHIV).
