Vimal has completed his Masters in Pharmacognosy from The department of pharmaceutical sciences, Dr. H.S. Gour University, Sagar, India. He is presently a PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Jordan K Zjawiony. His ongoing research focuses on the isolation, characterization and bioassay of psychoactive secondary metabolites from plants traditionally used as hallucinogens.
