Chloe Bergman, Navy commit, seeks to hone leadership skills

Q: Hometown and year in school

A: I’m a P3 student from Perryville, Missouri.

Q: Which branch of the military have you committed to and why?

A: I joined the Navy in May 2023 through the Health Services Collegiate Program.

Q: Why did you choose to join the military?

A: I chose to apply to this program because it allows me to pursue an area of pharmacy that I am interested in while serving for a higher purpose. Working as a pharmacist for the Navy will allow me to give back to those who dedicate their lives to protecting us.

I chose the Navy because of the Health Services Collegiate Program that helps me financially while in pharmacy school. Being in the Navy will also allow me to see beautiful cities throughout the country!

Q: What does this commitment entail while you’re in school?

A: While in school, I have to complete regular check-ins and yearly fitness tests.

Q: What specific role or job are you interested in within the Navy?

A: While in the Navy, I am looking forward to gaining clinical experience in one of their major medical facilities. During my time, I hope to learn more managerial and leadership skills.
