Transfer Students

The University of Mississippi will provide you with a wealth of resources to succeed as a transfer student on our campus. The University of Mississippi is the state’s largest university, and as a transfer student here you will soon understand the value of an Ole Miss degree. Timeline for Community College Students

  • Pre-Pharmacy Courses Year 1
  • Pre-Pharmacy Courses Year 2
  • During Year 2, students will apply as a Transfer Student to the University of Mississippi
  • Over the summer after Year 2, students will take the PCAT and apply for Pharmacy School
  • Pre-Pharmacy Courses Year 3 (must be at a 4-year institution)

Timeline for 4-Year College or University Students

Although the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy does not require a bachelor’s degree to be admitted to the program, some students choose to complete a degree at their home institution before starting pharmacy school and earning a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science at the end of their first year of pharmacy school.

These timelines may be altered based on the availability of our pre-pharmacy requirements at your college or university.
