Three Ole Miss representatives present a plaque to guest speakerDr. Qi (Tony) Zhou, assistant professor in the Department of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy at Purdue University, gave an overview on “Particle engineering and characterization for pharmaceutical solid dosage forms” to the students of the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy as a part of a collaborative initiative between the Department of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery and the AAPS-UM student chapter.

The AAPS-UM student chapter organized a workshop for pharmaceutics and drug delivery graduate students on “Resume Writing and Personal Branding” in collaboration with University of Mississippi Career Center on April 25, 2019.


AAPS Writing Workshop

The AAPS-UM student chapter organized a writing workshop entitled “Graduate Writing Tips” for the graduate students of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery in conjunction with the Graduate Writing Center on April 18, 2019.

 

 


Coating Workshop with engineering students

The AAPS-UM student chapter, a part of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery, helped organize a hands-on coating workshop for the students of chemical engineering with the University of Mississippi School of Engineering on April 10 and April 17, 2019.

 

 


AAPS hosts St. Jude official at speaker eventClark Eid, director of project management at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, gave an overview on project management and discussed alternative career paths to the students of the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy as a part of a collaborative initiative between the Department of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery and the AAPS-UM student chapter.
