Research Advisor – Dr. Zia Shariat-Madar
Mr. Santu K. Singha is currently pursuing his PhD dissertation work in the department of Bio Molecular Sciences, division of Pharmacology under the supervision of Dr. Zia Madar-Shariat. His research work is mainly focused on the role of endocannabinoid system in drug abuse and disease. He is currently observing the differential expression of endocannabinoid receptors in Japanese medaka. He is also working on the effect of alcohol in the same animal model and the role of natural product to prevent alcoholism.
