Research Advisor – Dr. Zia Shariat-Madar
Cody grew up in New Albany, MS and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2015. From July 2015-July 2016, he worked as an Emergency Room Technician then transitioned to a Clinical Research Assistant Position from July 2016-January 2018. He is pursuing a Master’s of Science in Pharmacology under the direction of Dr. Zia Shariat-Madar with research interests in obesity/metabolism, and obesity’s effects on the vascular system. Outside of science, he enjoys spending time with his wife & newborn son, hunting/fishing, and running.
